Hi,

My name is Maria I'm a 31 year old single mother of an adorable 2.5 year old toddler Raphael (Rafi). My son and I have just moved to Boston MA in November of 2007 from upstate NY, where I acquired a BS in Information Technology from one of the most highly respected technical institutes on the East Coast. Up until 3 months ago, I have had a successful career as an IT professional, with over 11 years of experience with one of the major software companies in US and worldwide.
Unfortunately, as of March 2007, all that came to a crashing halt when I lost my job and consequently, any financial stability. Thus far, I have not been able to replace my income, even though I have been very active in my job search. As a result, we are about to get evicted from the apartment we live in on June 28th, 2007 unless I'm able to come up with a full amount of rent ($1725/month). I currently owe for June and July of 2007. Additonally, I'm unable to pay for my son's daycare ($312/week) and any of my bills (currently running about $1500 because of being 3 months past due). Consequently, several of my creditors have filed for collections, which is greatly impacting my credit and thus my ability to rent anywhere.

Should I get evicted and lose my apartment, I'm also at a very high risk of losing the custody of my son, since the ability to maitain residence and employment are some of the conditions based up my custody court order is compiled.

I have no savings since I spent all of my earnings on attorney's fees during a 2 year long custody proceedings which have finally concluded in February 2007, and attempting to pay for rent, daycare and bills since I lost employment.

I am a highly responsible individual and up until 3 months ago have always been able to repay all of my debts.
I will repay anyone who is kind enough to help me, as soon as I'm able to secure employment, even with interest if you so desire.

ANYTHING YOU CAN HELP US WITH IS GREATLY APPRECIATED, EVEN IF IT'S JUST A PRAYER FOR MY SON AND I. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR KINDNESS.

Sincerely,
~ Maria and Raphael
